Job summary

Tallgrass Healthcare Campus is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our inhouse rehabilitation team. You will work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient therapy to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.

The role supports a collaborative, resident-centered approach under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Active PTA license or certification is required, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments according to individualized plans of care developed by the Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Treat residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient therapy settings
  • Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Apply appropriate therapeutic techniques based on resident presentation and plan of care
  • Participate in care plan meetings when requested by the Director of Rehabilitation
  • Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and provide objective input for discharge summaries
  • Complete daily billing and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
  • Maintain compliance with state practice acts, professional ethics, and company policies
  • Support a collaborative, resident-centered, interdisciplinary rehab approach

What You’ll Do as a PTA
