What you will do in this role:

• Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation
• Help patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and billing
• Document patient care in compliance with regulations
• Instruct family or nursing staff on follow-up programs
• Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
• Adhere to company policies, professional standards, and legal requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program with an Associate Degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent
• CPR certification (if required)
