Job summary

Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for inpatient rehabilitation. The PTA provides therapy under a licensed PT, helping restore function and mobility in hospitalized patients, with a Tue-Sat full-time schedule and a wage scale of $34.40 to $41.93 per hour.

This role requires an Associate's degree from a PTA program, CPR certification, and a current PTA license. Strong teamwork and patient-focused care are essential, with opportunities for advancement

• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

How you'll contribute

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

Essential Functions

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
