Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our friendly team in providing high‑quality therapy services to residents. You will assist the PT in designing and delivering personalized PT programs, helping residents meet their therapy goals with care and diligence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Unencumbered Iowa PTA certification/license.
• One year PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with design, implementation and delivery of customized PT programs.
• Support residents to achieve individual therapy goals with attention to safety and comfort.
• Be the front line of the Therapy Department, ensuring high standards of care.

As a PTA you are the front line of the Therapy Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atLegacy Healthcareby assisting the Physical Therapist with the design, implementation, and delivery of customized physical therapy programs to assist residents meet their therapy goals. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program and an unencumbered State ofIowaPTA certificate. One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
