Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, mobility, and endurance.
  • Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and functional mobility.
  • Monitor resident response to treatment and document progress in records.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and fall prevention.
  • Collaborate with nursing and other professionals to support resident care goals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care conferences as needed.
