Job summary

Palm Garden Rehab - Vero Beach is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our post-acute care team in Florida. You will work under the Physical Therapist to support residents’ rehabilitation goals and contribute to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active and valid PTA license in Florida.
• Caring attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Rehab experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the treatment plan set by the Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents in exercises, mobility training, strengthening, balance work and fine motor activities.
• Document progress and communicate updates to the PT and care team.

What You Will Do

• Follow the treatment plan set by the Physical Therapist
• Guide residents in exercises, mobility training, strengthening, balance work and fine motor activities to help residents regain function after illness, injury or surgery
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and care team

What We Are Looking For

• Active and Clear PTA license in the State of Florida
• A caring attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a plus but not required
