Job summary

Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is actively seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team in a full-time and PRN capacity.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Florida, experienced in geriatric and long-term care settings, and skilled at documenting patient progress and collaborating with the therapy team. The role emphasizes professional punctuality and strong patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of Florida.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA and Federal Residents Rights.

Responsibilities

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Job Overview:

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for carrying out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the PT. As well, the PTA must provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist via documentation or in any other method required by facility policy.
