Adoration Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to support patients in Lafayette, Tennessee. The PTA will make intermittent home visits to skilled nursing patients in the area. Enjoy the flexibility of a home health career!

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist, in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Consult regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, questions, and concerns.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, treatment areas, and report equipment issues.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and help secure adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintain and submit accurate patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adhere to the Company's policies, legal standards, and professional practices.
• Participate in staff development and continuing education to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as per state requirements.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience as a PTA.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
