Mercy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Bolivar, Missouri. The PTA works under the supervision of the Manager of Therapy Services to help patients regain strength, reduce pain, and improve mobility alongside experienced Physical Therapists.

This PRN role focuses on implementing treatment plans, guiding exercises, and supporting patient evaluations while fostering a positive, goal-oriented patient experience within a mission-driven

Competenze

• Education: Associate's degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure: Current PTA license in the applicable state and LPTA.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Associate's degree required

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire

Experience

• Less than one year of experience required
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of Physical Therapy experience
• Proven success delivering quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting
