Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to work under the Manager of Therapy Services and assist Physical Therapists with rehab activities to reduce pain and improve mobility.

You will help evaluate patients, guide exercises, and educate individuals toward independence, contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (PTA).
• Associate’s degree required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA).
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Less than one year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• One to two years of PTA experience preferred.
