The Shores, a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant Per Diem to join our team. The role offers $40/hr on a per diem schedule, with day shifts and a rewarding environment where your work matters.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Graduate of accredited therapy program (required).
• Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey (required).
• Prior experience working with adults in a sub-acute and/or home care setting (required).
• Experience with Net Health Therapy platform preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing therapy treatments and procedures.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and daily living activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Provide support and encouragement during therapy activities.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
