Job summary

The Shores, a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ, is hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists and help patients regain function. You will assist with treatments, monitor progress, and document patient responses in accordance with guidelines.

Requirements include NJ licensure, graduation from an accredited program, and prior sub-acute/home care experience. Net Health Therapy experience is a plus; teamwork is essential. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program (required).
• Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant license/certification in New Jersey (required).
• Prior experience with adults in sub-acute and/or home care settings (required).
• Experience with Net Health Therapy platform is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing therapy treatments and procedures.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and daily living activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Provide support and encouragement during therapy activities.
