Job summary

Good Samaritan HC in Vincennes, IN is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Community Health at Home team. This role involves working in patients' homes, approximately four days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with new competitive wages and mileage reimbursement (58.5 cents per mile).

There are no after-hour on-call requirements. The PTA will work with the PT, patients and families to improve mobility and independence, delivering patient-centered care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the state which you practice.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Driver's License and automobile insurance.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with PT, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve goals.
