Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in El Paso, TX is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for part or full-time work in home-based services. You will deliver therapy under a supervising PT, develop home exercise programs with families, and coordinate care across providers to support each child's growth and well-being.

Applicants should hold a Texas PTA license and have pediatric/home-health experience, with flexibility to travel between patient visits and participate in ongoing continuing education

Qualifications

• Current active Texas PTA license.
• Experience in pediatric home health settings preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care with multiple providers.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas.

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
