Job summary

Providence PACE Seattle is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver evidence-based care to geriatric participants in a day shift, full-time capacity. You will implement treatment plans, support mobility and pain reduction, and coordinate home care under a Physical Therapist guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License required on hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in physical therapy.

• Provide treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders per the treatment plan.
• Assist geriatric participants to restore mobility and reduce pain.

Schedule : Monday-Friday Day shift

Provides treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders in accordance with treatment plan established by Physical Therapist to provide efficient, effective physical therapy to referred geriatric participants. Utilizes artificial aids such as prosthetic devices, therapeutic exercise techniques, emotional support and educational training to restore mobility and function to participants, reduce pain, and promote healing. Provides home care coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the area of physical therapy.
