Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support a Physical Therapist in a Charleston healthcare setting. You will assist with patient care related to physical activities, aiming to improve mobility, strength, and overall function for residents.

In this role you will document treatments and progress, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, and provide motivational support to residents throughout their rehab journey. A SC PTA license and a PTA degree are required.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Valid, unencumbered South Carolina PTA license (Required)
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-admissions healthcare setting preferred
• A strong desire to help residents reach their highest level of functioning

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Physical Therapist with patient care related to physical activities
• Helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function
• Encouraging and motivating residents throughout their rehab journey
• Documenting treatments and resident progress accurately
