Harris Regional Hospital is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our acute care and outpatient rehab team. The PTA will support the therapist by assessing patient conditions, planning treatment programs, and maintaining progress records, while assisting with procedures under supervision and leading exercise instruction.
The ideal candidate has graduated from an approved PTA program, holds a North Carolina PTA license, and can obtain BLS within 30 days.

An Acute Care and/or Outpatient Rehab Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:
Supports therapist in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules and keeping records on the progress of treatment.
Assists with therapeutic procedures or administering procedures under a therapist's supervision.
Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
