Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver therapeutic modalities and interventions under supervision, while assisting with records, environment, safety, and equipment. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote quality patient care and support department functioning under the Assistant Director.

Qualifications include an accredited Associate's degree and state PTA licensure, with current Healthcare Provider card or probation-period course completion.

Qualifications

• Educational: Associate's degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: State PT Aide/PT Assistant license required by state of practice.
• Certifications: Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within probation period.
• Experience: None.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment including therapeutic modalities and interventions under supervision.
• Assist in medical records, department environment upkeep, safety and equipment.
• Support improved department functioning and advisory service to interdisciplinary team.
• Operate under supervision of Assistant Director and align with Mercy Service Standards.
