Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently searching for an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide per-diem home health visits in Frederick County, Maryland. In this role, you will assist clients with their physical well-being through treatment and education as directed by licensed Physical Therapists.

Qualifications

Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a per‑diem opportunity performing home health visits for our Montgomery County Maryland Visits office. This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per‑visit basis in territories throughout Frederick County, Maryland.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well‑being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification in the state of MD.
• Graduated from a two‑year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities as requested.
