Job summary

Phoenix Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in clinical procedures and patient care at the Pennsburg location. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting with procedures, and ensuring safety during treatments.

Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and client engagement are essential. An associate degree and CPR certification are required, with a preference for 2 years of PT facility experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy or graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Physical Therapy facility, nursing home or rehabilitation agency preferred.
• Current CPR Certificate

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient treatment schedule aligned with facility needs.
• Confer with the supervising PT and inform on patient needs, progress and treatment changes.
• Aid in care and safety of patients.
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments as directed.
• Assist PT in selected procedures, checking patient and equipment for safety.
• Perform housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized.
• Attend facility meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
