Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy or PTA program completed.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a physical therapy facility, nursing home, or rehab setting.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Customer/client engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with facility needs.
• Confer with the PT and other staff about patient progress and treatment changes.
• Aid in patient care and safety during treatments.
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments as directed.
• Assist the PT with selected procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform housekeeping and keep the facility clean and orderly.
• Attend required facility meetings.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
