Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health’s Maryview Medical Center seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver skilled therapeutic interventions and document progress in the EHR. The role spans inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics and may involve off-site locations, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license in the current practice state, with strong communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to apply age-specific standards, policies and guidelines for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Proficient with data entry, word processing, email and records management.
• Ability to analyze patient condition, progress and treatment response.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with coworkers, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate therapeutic interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
