The role operates under the Assistant Director and Mercy's standards. Ideal candidates hold an Accredited Associate's degree with PTA licensure in their state, plus a Healthcare Provider card or completion during probation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from accredited program.
• Licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant in state of practice.
• No prior experience required.
• Must have current Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation.
• General knowledge of treatment principles for diverse diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment including therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Assist with medical records, department upkeep, safety and equipment.
• Support improved department functioning and advisory services to the interdisciplinary team.
• Work under supervision of Physical Therapists and Assistant Director.
