Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for full-time or PRN roles in a skilled nursing setting. You will deliver medically prescribed therapy, assist with mobility and functional restoration, and work under a Physical Therapist to implement plans of care.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license in good standing, has SNF or long-term care experience, knowledge of PT practices, and familiarity with Net Health documentation.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay information and referrals to the PT when responding to service requests.
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust interventions with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure thorough documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time or PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist

• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision

• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers

• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
