Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team. You will help residents improve mobility and quality of life through prescribed therapies and close supervision by a Physical Therapist.

We encourage new graduates to apply. The role offers full-time or PRN options with flexible schedules and a supportive, patient-focused environment in a SNF setting in Texas.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments under physician orders.
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the PT.
• Implement and modify therapy plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and document motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure thorough, timely documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time/PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
