Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab in Mount Airy, MD seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN basis. You will assist licensed therapists in delivering individualized rehabilitation plans for a diverse resident population.

Work with a supportive, collaborative team in a state-of-the-art facility focused on quality care, recovery, and improving residents' lives through hands-on therapy and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Assisting licensed therapists in developing and implementing rehab plans.
• Administering PT treatments under supervision.
• Tracking patient progress and documenting outcomes.
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to physical therapists
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide education to patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and exercises
