ProActive Physical Therapy Centers in Pasadena, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under licensed Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, assist with patient care, and support rehabilitation efforts.

Ideal candidates hold PTA licensure and an accredited degree, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a HUGE plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by our physical therapist(s).
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patient strength, mobility, and overall function.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercises and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with the rehabilitation team and participate in team meetings.
