Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL seeks a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to assist in planning, organizing and implementing treatment programs under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide safe, effective care.

This role requires graduation from an approved PTA program and Florida licensure, with preferred 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Preferred: 2 years treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician and under the direction of a physical therapist.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• May supervise work of support personnel.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Required Experience:

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Current Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Florida.
