Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As a PTA, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to implement individualized plans of care and support patient progress.

You will assist in all phases of treatment, discuss outcomes with patients, and maintain accurate documentation while coordinating with therapists and facility staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans under a licensed PT.
• Record patient conditions and responses after each visit.
• Communicate with therapists and facility staff to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment with excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
