The role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, licensure in the state, and competency with Net Health or similar documentation systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for PTA licensure.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident care.
• Document per facility, state, and payer requirements.
• Maintain safe treatment areas and follow infection control protocols.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and participate in care conferences.
