Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and to complete documentation in accordance with facility procedures.

You will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, coordinate with the health team, assist with scheduling, and support billing and compliance while maintaining safety, accuracy, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license/registration.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Completes documentation according to established procedures.
• Instructs patients and families in follow-up programs.
• Communicates patient progress with the health team.
• Assists with scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks.
