Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (TX Board or Physical Therapy Compact).
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership in operations or clinical programs.
• Ability to lift 75/100 pounds, stand for long periods, and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine PT treatments under a licensed PT’s direction.
• Documents findings, progress and instructions in patient records.
• Supervises and mentors students and interns.
• Supports department operations and program development.
• Serves as clinical instructor for PTA interns when needed.
