Qualifications

• Must have an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy and an active Florida PTA license.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to residents under physician's orders.
• Report patient progress and response to treatment to the Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with procedures and complex treatments.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, facility, and physician information.
• Maintain accurate daily billing information per procedures.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings to rehab team.
• Attend family meetings as appropriate.
• Adhere to Rehabilitation department and facility documentation requirements.
• Conduct staff trainings and in-services as appropriate.
• Follow facility and Rehab Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Supervise non-professional staff as appropriate.
