Job summary

Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated in Statesville, NC, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct therapy under supervision, following the physician-ordered plan of care. You will support patient recovery and help prevent disability after disease or injury.

The role requires CPR certification, completion of orientation addressing pediatric to geriatric care, and ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 30 pounds. Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in NC as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligibility for licensure in state.
• CPR certification required; if not certified, must complete upon hire.
• Competency-based orientation covering age/population needs (pediatric, adult, geriatric).
• Physical demands include positioning, transferring, and lifting patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist per the plan of care.
• Assist patients in restoring function and preventing disability after disease, injury, or loss of a limb.
• Maintain access to patient health information per hospital policies and regulations.
• Work shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
