Matrix Providers is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team serving Military Service Members and families at Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California. The role provides direct therapeutic care under supervision, with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, and other conditions.

The PTA will mentor staff, participate in weekend on-call coverage, and coordinate diverse therapy programs while ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Graduate from CAPTE-approved program.

Responsibilities

• Mentor PTA staff and students and provide guidance.
• Weekend on-call coverage in inpatient settings as required.
• Deliver direct therapeutic care to a diverse patient population (e.g., TBI, orthopedic, neurological).
• Perform PTA duties under supervision of a Physical Therapist or PM Flight Chief.
• Coordinate diverse physical therapy programs for wounded and other beneficiaries.
• Instruct patients on prosthetics and gait training; perform related therapies.

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (CAPTE approved)
