Job summary

Franciscan Alliance Lafayette seeks a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Lafayette, Indiana. This role supports patient care through therapy sessions, documentation, and collaboration with therapists and nursing staff.

You will provide hands-on PTA services, supervise Rehab Techs, and educate patients and families on treatment plans while maintaining standards of care and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an accredited PTA program.
• 2 years PTA experience required.
• CPR certification.
• PTA license or credential as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate of Care collaboration with patient and healthcare team.
• Report patient progress and assist with therapy plan of care.
• Supervise Rehab Techs as needed.
• Provide physical therapy per state standards and use assistive devices as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and goals.
