Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. This full-time, on-site role supports a team of therapists, nurses, and physicians delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services.

You will assist in implementing treatment plans under a supervising PT, maintain patient records, and contribute to a compassionate, goals-driven care environment consistent with the hospital's guiding principles.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• BLS Certification from an approved vendor required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a physical therapist, may be involved in implementing treatment plans with patients.
• Performs components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist.
• Records the patient's responses to treatment and reports to the physical therapist the outcome of each treatment.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• BLS Certification from an approved vendor required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
