Job summary

Samaritan Nursing and Rehab in West Bend, WI is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team and help residents regain independence with compassionate care. This full-time role supports the recovery journey under supervision of a PT and offers a supportive work environment.

The PTA will apply treatments, develop recovery plans, provide direct patient care, and educate families on home programs.

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification in Wisconsin.
• Professional enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and shows initiative.

Responsibilities

• Apply selected forms of treatment or modalities under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop and implement recovery programs.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
