Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 2025!
When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years. It will integrate clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and an Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This system aims to establish a robust network of care for all District residents, especially residents of Wards 7 and 8, ensuring access to high-quality community care. The hospital will feature 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, emergency departments for adults and pediatrics, maternal health and delivery services, outpatient clinics, a 500-car garage, and a helipad.
Position: Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant
We seek a candidate who will support patient, family, and community needs by performing patient care tasks under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, complying with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for therapy sessions and assisting staff in service delivery.
