Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.
• Administers treatment programs for patients.
• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations and reviewing therapy histories.
• Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing therapist evaluations and test results.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient/department records.
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and guiding patients in activities of daily living.
• Helps patients use supportive devices (crutches, canes, prostheses).
• Instructs patients on regimens and wellness information.
• Maintains clean, safe environment following infection-control policies and procedures.
• Monitors treatment trends and production objectives.

We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing occupational medicine practice. This is a very fast paced environment. High Energy, Organized, Highly Pleasant - Personal.
