Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Working under supervising physical therapists, you help patients regain mobility, build strength, and reduce pain.

You will lead therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate patients and families on devices and home programs, and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and aides to support recovery.

Qualifications

• AS or AAS PTA program from an accredited program.
• Current state PTA license (e.g., Florida).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, and lift patients or equipment up to 50 pounds.
