A leading healthcare provider in Springfield is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement care plans, monitor resident progress, and assist in evaluations. The role requires strong communication skills and an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy. Join a dedicated team committed to providing quality care.
Responsible for carrying out the care plan as designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assisting the PT during evaluations. Monitor resident's progress and communicate with PT. Maintain documentation in the system of resident's activities, record progress, and document billing activities. Perform resident's home assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT. Perform resident's screening during the admission process and conduct quarterly & annual screenings to determine the need for therapy as directed by the PT.
Requires an AA Degree from an APTA-accredited program and a current State of Florida PTA license. Two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
