Job description

Responsible for carrying out the care plan as designed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and assisting the PT during evaluations. Monitor resident's progress and communicate with PT. Maintain documentation in the system of resident's activities, record progress, and document billing activities. Perform resident's home assessment as part of the discharge process as directed by the PT. Perform resident's screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screening to determine the need for therapy as directed by the PT.

Requirements:

1. Associate Degree or better in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.
2. Current State of Florida PTA license.
3. Two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
4. COVID-19 Vaccination.
5. Physical Therapy Assistant certification.
