Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, performs activities to assist in patient treatment, executes established care plans, and communicates patient status changes promptly. Adheres to safety standards and policies to ensure effective and safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned, with management rights to modify responsibilities.
Entry-level PTA skills, physiological knowledge, health promotion, safety awareness, motivation, legal compliance, quality focus, bedside manner, clinical skills, pain management, persistence, energy.

Associates of Science in Physical Therapy (Required)
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association; Physical Therapy Assistant certification; others as applicable.
