Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents across the continuum of care with person-centered, holistic therapy and daily living activities at our Pompton Plains, NJ community. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with compensation ranging from $35 to $39 per hour based on experience, and access to comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with a 3% match,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s experience with older adult population preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current state license in physical therapy, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Providing day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet resident’s needs in all settings across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care.
• Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures and ensure departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations.
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistants support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. This is a Full Time role, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30.

Compensation: $35/HR - $39/HR depending on experience.

How you will make an impact

What you will need

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable.
