Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to support pediatric outpatients and, when needed, inpatient and adult services. Under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, you will plan, organize, and implement therapy programs, including assessment and documentation.

• Documents patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in the chart.
• Primarily works with pediatric outpatients, with flex to cover inpatient and adult services as needed.

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

With direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, documentation and treatment of individual patients. This position is primarily with pediatric outpatients, but will flex to cover both inpatient and outpatient adults, as needed. Shifts will be primarily weekday with occasional weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a current or temporary licensure or eligibility for licensure in SC. BLS certification required.
• Prior clinical Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
