Job summary

The MUSC Health is seeking a capable Physical Therapy Assistant to support Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. You will prepare patients and equipment, help implement treatment plans, and document responses and progress for each session.

Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy Assistant and holds a current valid South Carolina license to practice.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Experience: None. Certification/Licensure: Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
