Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Michigan. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide hands-on therapy services that help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques appropriate to each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes.
• Support the clinical education of students and assist with departmental activities.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist.

• Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques appropriate to each patient's needs.

• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
