Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Malden in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. You will support therapists in delivering rehab services to residents across short-term and long-term care, helping them regain strength, mobility and independence for daily activities.

Qualified candidates hold an A.S. in PTA, Missouri PTA licensure, and prior experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting; advanced clinical collaboration and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments including exercises, stretches and activities to improve strength and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care.

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work closely with our therapy team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents.
