Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home PT services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in Green Valley, AZ. You will implement components of patient interventions and treatments, following the standards of practice.

The position requires CAPTE-accredited PTA training, a current PTA license, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Experience in home health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license or certification (state specific).
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by state board to treat patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Maintain knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for PT needs.
• Ensure CPR certification is current and maintain reliable transportation.
